If you go into motherhood without a plan, you will realize at some point that you need a plan. You will see that motherhood with no purpose is just not sustainable. You, my friend, have to move into purpose-driven mothering.
What is purpose-driven mothering?
Simply put, purpose-driven mothering is deciding ahead of time what you want your family to look like and the types of relationships you want your children to have with each other, and then making a plan to create the family culture that supports that plan.
It’s knowing what you want and being intentional about going after it.
how I created a family culture of love
In this episode, I chat with my son, Michael, who was 32 at the time of the recording and is the oldest of our 10 children, about the family culture I built in our own family and the exact steps I took to build the strong bonds of love between the siblings.
With 19 years between my youngest and oldest, it took some serious intention to build strong relationships between my kids and each other.
But I also had to work to build strong relationships between my kids and me!
